About Ken Medernach

Squeezed into this world in  Savannah, Georgia September 16, sometime after the Great Depression and before WWII, attended Savannah public schools. Episcopalian, Boy Scout, Sailor, Adventurer, Author, Balloon Pilot, U.S. Coast Guard, Fisherman, Teller of Tall Tales. Ken's first sailing adventure is outlined in his book, "On the High Seas", other adventures followed in random order of distance, excitement, danger, intrigue.

He has explored the back streets of Bimini, Nassau, Havana, Savannah, Old Cancun, Miami, Villa Rica, Ga. and many others. He scuba dived with Jacques Cousteau's crew (Jacques was absent), climbed pyramids in Central America and the Yucatan. Hunted and captured rattlesnakes in south Georgia, 'rasseled' an alligator with Seminole Indians, .... ... ..  . 

Ken lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife Meg and a dog and 2 cats
